the lowercase leaders and Sokoto House honored the life of a Superhero, Duke Collins (@justduke777) with live music performances by local artists, homecooked and fresh-grilled food plates, poetry performances, and love shown for a legend. All proceeds and donations went towards supporting the surviving family.

HOPE held a fish fry fundraiser at Sokoto House to benefit their youth programs.

Sokoto House and the lowercase leaders hosted another Completely Free Community Market on March 9 and 10.

Our 3rd Annual Summit was on October 20-22, with a theme of "#BeTheSolution: Understanding Power & Healing the Community."

Fitness and spiritual health sessions open to the community, led by 53+ year martial science professor, Master Shihan Mwalimu White Owl.

Advance Youth Outreach and New Hanover For All will hold meetings regarding the housing problems in New Hanover County every other Saturday at Sokoto House. These meetings are open to the community.

Sokoto House and Grey Raven Media holds archery instruction and practice sessions free of charge on Saturdays (weather permitting). All equipment is provided.
